DR DAVID CHRISTOPHER HILE

MD

Dr. David Hile, MD is a board-certified Emergency Physician, Fellowship trained in Wilderness Medicine, with more than 20 years of experience.

He is passionate about cutting-edge, evidence based treatments for painful conditions, restorative and regenerative medicine, and improving overall quality of health.

Dr. David Hile graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed his residency training at Darnall Army Medical Center in Ft. Hood, Texas, while serving in the U.S Army. Dr. Hile was deployed multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and continues to serve in the Army Reserves. He was awarded the Bronze Star for superior service while deployed as a Surgeon with U.S Special Operations Forces.

Dr. Hile has served as medical faculty as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University and Johns Hopkins University before leaving to focus on evidence-based, innovative approaches to pain relief and regenerative care. He is a member of the American Academy of Procedural Medicine.

He is excited to be working with Dr. Dekanich and Vail Integrative Medical Group and is now offering hair restoration treatment via platelet rich plasma (PRP). This has been shown in multiple studies to be a very effective treatment for hair regrowth in both males and females.

Elective rotation available nationally to medical students and residents of all specialties. Delivered over 20 wilderness medicine- based lectures and organized multiple hands-on and field activities, including field expeditions to Mt. Rainier, local rock climbing, and a wilderness adventure race.
