Dr Joshua Nichols has a desire to help every individual be able to perform and move their absolute best. Having opportunities to continue to learn and develop from the best have taken him all over the country. Originally from just outside Fairplay, Colorado, Dr Nichols is excited to return to the area with his family. Dr Nichols approach is rooted in the belief that life is about movement, and once you are unable to move your dead, and with his philosophy and approach in care focusing not just preservation of movement but having the ability for every individual to reach and live at their most optimal potential in their performance in sport and in life. Having drawn from personal experience, Dr Nichols has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the top surgeons in the country and incorporate their approach developing treatment to help every individual excel following injury.
Enjoys family practice and has an emphasis and continues to develop approaches in gait and extremity injuries, Concussion treatment, and scoliosis treatment and correction.
Alongside continuing education, Dr. Nichols is continuously researching and developing approaches to provide the most precise treatment for each individual with the goal of allowing every individual to have the opportunity to perform at their absolute best potential.
Alongside enjoying family practice, Dr Nichols has continued to emphasize concentration in sports medicine and performance while treating and working with collegiate, professional and olympic athletes from around the world including U.S. and Canadian Bobsled teams, working with athletes in preparation and as Sports Medicine and Emergency Staff Ironman Louisville, Athletic programs at The University of Missouri, Overseeing and developing in the Athletic department at Lindenwood University, Athletic Programs at St Catherine's College, Athlete evaluations at Olympic Training site at Eastern Tennessee State University
