Brad Whitworth LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Growing up, I had a love for sports and physical activity. I participated in both cross country and baseball, which led me to attend Xavier University on a baseball scholarship.
Following college, I was a professional baseball player for 8 years, including the Los Angeles Angels and the Houston Astros organizations for 8 years. During this time, I performed a dual role of pitcher and team trainer/massage therapist, where I gained a lot of practical knowledge and experience. After baseball, I decided to pursue massage therapy and graduated from U.S. Career Institute as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2017.
I perform a targeted form of deep tissue therapy where I am able to bypass the muscle's defense mechanism and connect to the circulation. This will allow the tissues to respond naturally, without forcing anything to happen. My work is not meant as a full body massage but used to target the major lockup, spasms, or that spot that's just been there forever! I have also worked as a ski instructor for Beaver Creek during the past 13 winters. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, skiing, and mountain biking.
