Dr. Mark Berger MD
Radiology, Functional Medicine
Dr. Berger received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mayo Clinic and a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. Over the course of his 20 years in practice, Dr. Berger recognized that most diseases visible on medical imaging are self-inflicted, caused by poor choices in diet and lifestyle. Realizing conventional medicine typically treats just the symptoms of disease with drugs and procedures rather than addressing the underlying cause, he became dedicated to investigating the most effective forms of therapy that would allow individuals the greatest opportunity to optimize their health. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona, followed by certifications from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and the Cleveland Clinic Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Berger is committed to using these techniques to enhance the health and vitality of his family, friends, and patients.
